1. Why do you believe you are student of the month? A- because i am the hardest worker.
2. What helped you get this award? A- Working hard and support from friends.
3. How does it feel to win this award? A- Pretty good
4. What are your favorite qualities about yourself? A- How caring of other people i am
5. What qualities must every student of the month have? A- hardworking
6. Who motivated you to get this award? A- My friends
7. Who are some people who deserve this award? A- A few class mates i know
8. Why should they get the award? A- Because they work as hard as me
9. What would you want to teach other students with your actions? A- Tech them that hard work really does pay off
10. How can you motivate others? A- with my kindness
11. What are some ways other people can learn from you? A- If you really focus on work you can do something good.
12. Who's actions have reflected onto you? A- friends
13. How has that changed who you are? A- See how i can change for the better

Last month, Sophomore Antonio Anderson was chosen as student of the month. He was chosen because of how hard he works everyday.He is looked up upon by other students because of his care for others. He believes he puts his all into everything he does and that is why he was chosen.
From my interview with Antonio it was quite obvious that he loves and cares for his friends. In fact, he says he was motivated by his friends to get this award. " My friends are what really push me to exceed." said Anderson. This shows character in him for caring so much.
It's obvious that Antonio's friends feel the same about him. " Antonio is the best friend I've ever had." said sophomore Christian.
Antonio shows kindness and leadership, without speaking too much. " Antonio is the type of kid too have the best presentation, even though everyday he sits quietly in the back corner" said Biology teacher Renee Keyes.
Antonio really wants his award to teach his class mates that hard work really does pay off. " This award shows the time and effort i put in behind the scenes when people don't always notice" said Anderson.
Antonio says it's cool and all winning the award, but it shows that his friends have took liking to the award as well. " It feels good to be seen with Antonio, it feels like we run the school" said sophomore Xavier.
Antonio has one goal left before he leaves high school, He wants to have an impact with the needy. Antonio said," whether it is with needy people or a needy place, i just want to make a difference"
Antonio plans on going to the University of Texas after Bowie. " It has always been my dream school, I just need to stay on top of my grades" said Anderson.
