I feel this picture tells the best story because of the energy of coming together this photo gives off. When a group of people come together like this around one object, that object [ the pole] has to have a serious meaning or impact.
ACTION AND EMOTION. This picture definitely gives off the best emotion and action looks. The girls in this photo have looks of happy, excited, laughter, and surprised. This makes the audience feel the delighted mood of the photo.
FILLING THE FRAMEThis picture does the best of filling the frame because all of the colors that catch the audiences attention. Also it shows smoke or steam as their doing a science experiment and that adds some character to the photo.
My favorite picture in the 2012 photo contest is called " junior year". It ads character because its black and white.Theres simplicity because it is taken from above the boy. This picture is of a boy sitting criss cross with books in front of him. There are book shelfs just barley peeking out on the sides.
